hohoho, peace, joy, and believe

This weekend I helped a friend make some gifts with the peace and believe words. She had some really cool mirror ornaments in the shape of stars. I helped her apply the shimmer words in gold and silver and they looked beautiful! (Wish I would have had my camera with me!)

Here is a cute idea I found on the myfamily site... just buy a glass mug at the dollar store and apply the red hohoho, add some hot chocolate, some festive ribbon, and voila! A great make &t ake, booking incentive, or hostess thank you for your next open house.

Price is Right tomorrow morning!

I just found out that our "Price is Right" episode is airing tomorrow morning... on CBS. I think it is 9 am but check your local listings. A group of demonstrators went to the show in July before Convention. Michelle Wahlin, on my second line in Washington, was called up from our group at the very beginning of the show. Look for our group in cute white shirts with bright pink flowers :) We had so much fun and loved seeing Michelle up on stage with Drew!

Cool Date

Can you believe we're almost halfway through September? It's kinda cool that today's date is 09.09.09. That won't happen again in my lifetime! Here are some other important dates that I want everyone to remember:

DATE #1
September 10th (that would be TOMORROW)
The very last day of our Buy 2 get 1 FREE special. (That includes EVERYTHING in the catalog PLUS custom items!!!) Get the word out to your past customers, hostesses, friends, family, coworkers. This is a great way to get some quick and easy sales.

September 15th
The first day that our new Photo Vinyl is available for customers to order!! This is a great new way to build your customer base. Coaches, dance teachers, parents, photographers - so many people who would love these new options. Have you used the feature yet? Even if you don't plan to purchase it - you should see how it works - so you can answer questions for your customers. Also, we as demonstrators can order NOW - so we can showcase these as soon as possible. Plus any order that you place counts towards your sales too. I recommend if you only get one thing - try the portrait vinyl - you get a 24x24 print for $30 - you can decorate your home and advertise at the same time!

Sept 30th
The LAST day of the quarter. I know I know - everyone loves that day! Please take a look at your sales for the quarter to see where you are at.

These are the required minimums:
Associate Demonstrator: $300
Senior Demonstrators $600
Director: $1000

Uppercase should be closing the month of August by the end of this week. After that happens it will give you a "Projected Status" if your title could change. Please let me know if you have any questions about this. I am happy to answer them!

I love all the kits they've given us! These are perfect for project parties, or just great gift ideas for our customers for Christmas. Anyway, UL has decided to let us order our catalogs early, so starting at NOON today we can order them as a Supply order. It is $7.95 for a pack of 25!
